A gorgeous new garden with an uplifting spirit has now been planted. Check out the photos. The first stage was the removal of the existing plants and preparation and enrichment of the soil. It was all rotary hoed and left to settle for a couple of weeks – and it became a worm farm. Our garden is now alive with tiny worms, all ready to aerate and enrich the soil.

More than 100 plants, a mountain of manure, 5 metres of mulch and enthusiastic workers all adding their energy has created two beautiful gardens. In front of the studio is an area full of plants that will provide colourful flowers all year round. To the side is our native garden, providing a food source for our native birds. Both gardens have a path and a sitting area – a place to sit and contemplate, or just be. The garden evolved under the direction and guidance of Wendy Clarke from Dirtscape Dreaming, an intuitive landscape designer whose passion is creating gardens that are full of energy and life and offer a colourful welcome with some food for our native birds. (Wendy won a
gold medal at last year’s Garden Show.) Follow the link to www.dirtscapedreaming.com.au for more info about Wendy and her work.
