The Advanced classes are for students seeking to increase focus, stretch and strength and take their yoga to a deeper level. Regular attendance will ensure that you get the most out of the class and are also able to contribute to the class.   It is especially helpful for those wanting to establish their own practice.

The early morning Guided Practice on Wednesdays from 6.30-8.00am is great for students wishing to start or develop their own home practice. Students will be guided through a different practice sequence each week which is in sync with the needs of those present. There is plenty of time for questions and discussion and the opportunity for more camaraderie.

Prenatal - A special class to create the physical and emotional space for you and your baby.  Take time to relax and connect with the many changes occurring as your baby develops.  A time for pampering, opening up and relieving tired backs.   Discover how to support yourself during this time and relieve the strain and stress caused by pregnancy.  You will also learn yoga techniques that will help when caring for your new baby.  This yoga class is a wonderful way to share with other pregnant women.

Meditation – Yoga is a pursuit that attracts many people who are both spiritually inclined and spiritually aware. At Symphisis Yoga we have recognized this through our associated Spiritual activities with Ian and Pearl Rogers. As an ongoing part of that connection we offer meditation classes with Ian Rogers. The meditation is spiritually based and guided. The aim is to connect with your guides and receive access to information they wish to share about relevant issues in our lives. Those attending Ian’s meditation agree that it is a rich, deeply personal and uplifting experience with a direct relevance to daily life. Come along and enjoy.

Private Tuition is available with Julia Symington at a mutually convenient time.
